Go into almost any restaurant these days and you’ll come across a much wider choice of champagne than was ever the case a few years ago.

With all this choice available, I thought to myself, “ why is it that most people still stick to the same brand they’ve always ordered ?”

The answer of course is that they take the ‘safe’ option because they don’t know which champagne is worth trying and which isn’t. More to the point, no one has ever told them.

So here’s a simple tip called the 10 second waiter-test that will prove invaluable next time you feel tempted to try a different champagne.
